Shoes Care
One of the best things about Kuuma wool shoes is that they're completely washable!
Here’s how you can clean them, whether you prefer machine washing, hand washing, or just a quick refresh.
Machine Washing Your Kuuma Shoes:
-
Begin by wiping off any loose dirt with a towel.
-
Remove the insoles and laces first — for best results, wash these separately by hand in the sink.
-
Place your shoes in a linen bag and wash them in the machine on a delicate or wool cycle using cold water.
-
Important: Let them air dry naturally. Avoid using a dryer, as it can cause shrinking.
-
Once dry, pop the insoles and laces back in and your Kuuma Shoes are ready to wear again!
Hand Washing Your Kuuma Shoes:
-
Use warm water and a soft cloth to gently clean your shoes.
-
Spot clean any stains with a mild soap solution.
-
Always air dry. Do not tumble dry to prevent shrinking.
Extra Tips:
-
A Mr Clean® Magic Eraser works wonders for removing dirt and scuffs from the soles.
-
Avoid using bleach or detergents with brightening agents.
-
Don’t soak your shoes in water for long periods.
-
Be aware that wearing them in wet conditions can sometimes cause odors.
